The cottage was excellent value for money overall. It has been thoughtfully renovated and had every facility we required, although the television signal was repeatedly lost for some reason. Grange over Sands is a lovely little town, very clean and with friendly locals, but very hilly outside the town centre. We would recommend the cottage to others. Mr R, Southport, Merseyside 04 March 2011
Excellent location for exploring southern lakes. Plenty of walking direct from cottage. Plenty of ammenities in village of Grange-over-sands. Mr S, Wrexham, Clwyd 21 November 2010
The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable, exactly matches the description in the brochure. Wonderful dog walking straight from the door. The owners are really helpful but not intrusive. Cartmel is a must to visit especially The Cavendish Arms a really good place to eat! All in all a super place for a quiet, away from it all break. Mr W, WIGAN, 26 October 2010
We were delighted with the cottage. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting the many attractions nearby such as the fantastic wild life park, ducky's farm, Beatrix Potter and Morecome Bay. Ideal location for families. Would definitely recommend it to others and once again Hoseasons has come up trumps. This has been our fourth holiday booked with Hoseasons and we will certainly be booking with them again. Mrs M, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire 17 May 2010
Excellent facilities, the woods are perfect for walking the dogs. Miss B, WILLENHALL, West Midlands 04 January 2010
Description of property was spot on, a must for dog lovers with long walks straight from the front door. MR T, GRIMSBY, South Humberside 29 December 2009
Great location for southern Lake District. Mrs B, WALLINGFORD, Oxfordshire 02 December 2009
The cottage was clean, but because of its situation it was not easy to walk into town, but the woods being just opposite the cottage made it ideal for our dogs, the information package was excellent and a request to the owner for a mop and bucket (because the of dogs bringing in dirt from the woods) appeared like magic. We had a great holiday and would certainly recommended this stop as a good base for exploring. Mrs F, CRIEFF, Perthshire 13 November 2009
The cottage was in a lovely peaceful area in Grange over Sands and was just lovely. It had all the amenities that we could have needed and the rooms were clean and plenty of room for everything. Mrs L, HULL 30 September 2009
Class accommodation, peace and quiet location, lovely adjacent walks in forest and fells, good place for romantics! Mr J, Liverpool, Merseyside 30 July 2009
A beautiful cottage, lovely decoration, a very homely feel and a very quiet location. miss C, BICESTER, Oxfordshire 05 June 2009
